The Mine & Roster
Following the announcement of a newly extended Life of Mine plan, with a strong focus on optimising operations and boosting production, it is an exciting time to be part of this dynamic underground mine site. Join an experienced team of UG mining professionals and strive towards enhancing efficiency and driving growth in a safety focussed environment.

Accommodation
Camp is short drive from the mine site. Comfortable with ensuite rooms and offers employees the following:
- A well-equipped canteen that supplies 3 meals per day
- No wet mess however you can bring alcohol to the camp with you
- Although there isn't a gym at camp, there is a gym close to camp is based. Permanent employees are given $145 per annum to go towards a gym membership (which is around 50% of an annual subscription)
The Role
Reporting to the Tech Services Super and is primarily responsible for:
- Develop and maintain systems that ensure data is captured, adjusted, stored and presented in accordance with regulatory minimums and in line with best industry practice.
- Provide expert guidance to operations teams to ensure the accurate and efficient execution of engineering designs, aligning with project objectives and safety standards.
- Prepare and deliver EOM reporting, ensuring all relevant data and insights are accurately captured and communicated in a timely manner.
- Oversee and manage drone operations, ensuring they are conducted safely and in compliance with regulations while providing valuable data to support operational decisions.
- Mentor and support mine surveyors, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality surveying practices are maintained across the site.
Your Skills and Experience
Experience:
- Proficient user of Deswik software
- Extensive experience in a senior role, actively upskilling and developing team members
- Strong recent experience working within an underground mining environment
- Minimum 5 years experience in surveying role
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
- Drone Pilot Experience (advantageous)
