Volume Builder seeking a Site Supervisor to manage new builds across Northwest Sydney. Cert III in Carpentry & Cert IV in building required.

About the Company

Our Client has been producing single storey, double storey, dual occupancy homes, and house and land packages in Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong for the past 30 + years, building over 500 + homes annually. This builder has developed strong relationships with well-known industry partners to deliver a high-quality product at an affordable price.

This builder has an ongoing commitment to provide a high level of support throughout the pre-construction, construction and post-construction stages to their customers. We are looking for a Site Supervisor to join the construction team based in the Northwest and Hills District region

About the Role

Duties will include:

• Managing the overall performance of each project from commencement to handover
• Liaising with trades and sub-contractors
• Checking material orders
• Lead a team of site staff in delivering projects
• Ensure that project milestones are followed and met on time
• Undertake project quality assurance
• Manage defective work
• Complete detailed daily site diaries
• Ensure that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and to specification
• Ensuring trades are complying with Safety Management Systems and WH&S legislation's

What You Need

• Certificate III in Carpentry
• Certificate IV in Building and Construction is essential for this role
• Minimum 4 years experience as a Site Supervisor with a Project Home Builder or Developer
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detailed orientated and a strong understanding of the NCC & BCA
• Current drivers license
