About the Company

Our client is an established builder within the Project Home space who have been operating for over 25 years across Sydney. Get the chance to progress internally with an award winning home builder.

Due to their strong pipeline of work, they are looking for a Building Cadet to support their Trade Allocation team.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated and looking for a career in construction. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced Project Home Supervisors, Project Managers and Estimators, with ongoing career progression opportunities available internally.

This would be an ideal role for someone who is a recent University graduate or currently undertaking studies in construction, or someone who is looking for a career change.

Day to day duties will vary and include:

• Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers for material orders
• Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers for installation schedules
• Assisting with document control
• Assisting with contractor checklists
• Other ad-hoc administrative tasks

What You Need

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Construction/Project Management (either completed or currently studying) or Cert III in Carpentry
• Prior experience within the construction industry is highly desirable however not required
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Prior experience working across admin roles is desirable but not required
• Positive "can do" attitude and willingness to learn
