As a Contract Administrator, you will play a key role in managing contracts, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers, overseeing documentation processes, and supporting the administrative elements of our clients construction process. You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations, keep projects on track financially, and contribute to the seamless delivery of high-standard builds, mostly in the medium density space.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and administer contracts for residential construction projects.
Manage contract variations, claims, extensions of time, and project documentation.
Assist in the coordination and management of subcontractors, including tendering, selection, and engagement.
Track and process progress claims and subcontractor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Liaise with site supervisors, estimators, and project managers to ensure accurate project costing and budgeting.
Contribute to planning and approvals administration, including Development Applications, Planning Approvals, Building Rules Consents, and full Development Approvals.
Maintain up-to-date records and reports on contract performance and compliance.
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Building, Estimating, or related discipline (Diploma or Degree).
2 - 3 years of experience within the construction industry, preferably in residential construction.
Experience or strong understanding of estimating processes is advantageous.
Sound knowledge of subcontractor engagement, management, and invoice/payment systems.
Familiarity with administration procedures relating to planning approvals and development consents.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
