The Comany:

Both a project home and custom KDRB residential builder is seeking a experienced Building Coordinator to join their tight knit team. They are continuing to grow and have a extensive pipeline for the next 18 months.

This company work with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th home buyers. Not only are the homes beautifully finished, their top priority is to give exceptional customer quality and care.

The team is a mix of very experienced and cadet staff, and so there is a great balance of knowledge with the opportunity to both teach and learn from those around you.

We are looking for someone who has administration experience within the construction industry to join the team. A background within pre-site across KDRB and volume is critical. This will also be a fast paced but complex portfolio and so the ability to be adaptable is essential.

The Role:

As a Pre-Site Building Coordinator, you will report to the Customer Service Manager who is both experienced and knowledgable. With strong team training, you will have those around you to answer questions, and give advice! If you have worked within a similar capacity, you will be trusted to work autonomously and given responsibility.

Role will involve:

• Work with customers through the pre-site phase of their build to prepare for construction
• Contract manage from signing through to when the slab is poored, work with councils, private certifiers, and other stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Work to resolve issues and conflict - having empathy and helping to provide solutions are a big part of this role
• Liaise with various estimating and the design team to work through selections and variations

What you need:

You will ideally have the following criteria:

• Previous experience at a new homes and KDRB domestic builder
• Strong knowledge of the permit application process
• Longevity in a customer service role (3 years minimum ideally)
• Previous experience within a high volume client portfolio is found to be beneficial when transitioning to more complex projects
• Well presented and hold professionalism
• Proactive qualities and hold the ability to work autonomously
• Outgoing, friendly personality will settle you in very quickly!
