The Company
This major operation is a key player in the region, employing around 600 people, including contractors. As a 50/50 joint venture between two leading industry giants, the site stands at the forefront of innovation and excellence within the mining sector.

- Open to FIFO from any major city on the east coast for the right candidates (5 years relevant experience)
The Role
- Develop, maintain, and facilitate the Processing department induction for the business.
- Develop the training matrix for approval by the Department Manager.
- Track and monitor department performance measures. Provide weekly action management analysis.
- Facilitate best practice in accident and Incident Investigations.
- Undertake Task Observations to streamline and improve site procedures and department work instructions.
- Coordinate the development and update of the Site Risk Register.
- Review and audit critical risk controls measures.
- Assist with safety campaigns, promotions, toolbox meetings and workshops.
- Manage department emergency preparedness and response in accordance with the site Emergency Management Plan.
- Support frontline leaders implementing the site injury management and return to work program for department employees.
- Coach and mentor department Health & Safety Representatives.
- Ensure that safety data within INX is accurate and up to date.
Your Skills and Experience
You are required to possess and demonstrate the following:
Experience:
- Cert IV in WHS
- Cert IV in Training and Assessing
- 3-5 years' experience working in a similar role
- Underground Mining industry experience is essential
- Experience with INX is highly desirable; Pronto experience is beneficial but not required
- Competent user of Microsoft Office, namely Excel
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- An approachable and positive attitude
