Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented Health & Safety (H&S) Coordinator ? My client is in search of two enthusiatic H&S coordinators to provide critical administrative support for two major infrastructure projects in Sydney.
In this pivotal role, you will assist in ensuring the effective implementation of the project's Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management programs, aligning with the project's core safety and environmental values.
Your Responsibilities:

Assist with compiling safety-related reports, maintaining records, and updating safety documentation to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor adherence to safety systems and procedures across project sites, providing operational support to the project management team.

Help develop safety policies, programs, and procedures tailored to the specific needs of the project.

Support workers' compensation claims, rehabilitation processes, and assist in investigations related to incidents and accidents.

Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure safe working practices are maintained across all work areas.

Establish and maintain effective relationships with project personnel and regulatory bodies to promote safety awareness.

Support the preparation and maintenance of reports on safety performance, incidents, and compliance matters.

Coordinate and manage training programs, maintain training records, and ensure staff compliance with H&S requirements.

Assist in the organization and documentation of toolbox talks, emergency drills, and debrief
Position Specific Tasks:
-
Enter and maintain incident reports, safety statistics, and other key safety-related data in project databases.

Assist with the preparation of project H&S KPI reports and track safety performance.

Maintain audit and inspection registers, ensuring timely close-out of actions.

Support the mobilization of project personnel and assist with project inductions.

Provide administrative support for subcontractor documentation and maintain project safety records.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
-
5 years' experience in on site and in an office environment, with expertise in administration, document management, and data entry.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI, and database management.

Strong understanding of Health and Safety procedures, legislation, and systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
