The contract
There is an immediate need for a finance officer/ administrator for a 9-month maternity leave contract. Work will be guaranteed until Jan 2026 however contract extensions or a permanent role in similar position may be on offer for successful incumbents in the role.
Hours and location
This is a 100% work from home role where you will enjoy the flexibility of hours to suit your home life. Standard hours will be 38 hours per week, with start times ranging from 7.00am - 9.30am working a 7.6 hour day.
Successful applicants will ideally be based in Brisbane, however Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast locations will also be reviewed.
The role
Reporting into the MD for the company and working closely with 2 customer service advisors you'll take on an all-round finance officer/ administrator role. your duties will include;-
- 65% accounts receivable
- 35% accounts payable
- 10% ad hoc finance, general administration or customer service duties
Your value
You will have a minimum of 12 months recent experience working in an all-round accounts receivable/ accounts payable role and experienced working in role that's diverse and requires administrative duties. You will also have the following traits, strengths and skills;-
- Strong customer service skills
- High attention to detail
- Dedicated, self-motivated and able to produce quality results in a WFH environment
- Team player and the ability to work autonomously
- Strong work ethic and adaptable to work duties and responsibilities
- Experience with software programmes and able to pick up on new systems quickly
- Knowledge with Microsoft work and Excel (expert skills not necessary)
